There were 13 E60MA in service in 1998 - numbered in two groups. Both groups are HEP equipped, geared for 90 mph, they have 6000 hp and were built in 1975 by GE

Number 620-621 weigh 387,000

April 2004 - Railroad Museum of Pennslyvania has acquired Amtrak E60C 603 for preservation. All others believed to be out of sevice and being scrapped.
